Reminder: Submissions Open Soon
Just over two weeks from now, submissions for Scheherazade's Facade will open, and remain open for the next four months.
I'm both anticipating and dreading the results, as A)I've read slush so I know what it's like, and B)I really want to see what people come up with. I've seen a low hum of excitement regarding this project so far, and I expect I'll be blown out of my socks by sheer awesomeness and enthusiasm. I hope. I'm crossing my fingers.
I will note that I've already received and informally accepted a story by one of the finest storytellers in the field. Who? I can't say, but the sheer fact this person was willing and able to contribute to this antho of mine continues to make me a very happy camper. But that leaves a whole lot of room for other stories....
