Holidays!

It's that time of year again. The time of stress, driving, and presents.

Oh hell, it's really about family. :> I'm amused that so far, the only book I got for Christmas was the Good News New Testament, which was handed out at church. That's right, I went to church. A Catholic church, for my yearly checkup with God. No lightning struck me, so I guess I must be okay. Tormented the priest, who I really like.

For the record, the official party line is that no, God can NOT make a rock so heavy he can't lift it. He could always just zap it down to size. So says the priest.

Visited the in-laws and survived. Tomorrow, we see my family. Up to DC and back in a day, 7 hour round trip. Woo! Then the day after THAT, we're driving to Myrtle Beach. I'm sure you'll read all about it in Alemya's journal. (what, like I remember how to make LJ links? Piffle.)

I figure I can relax after the holidays are over. Really. It's bad when I look forward to going back to work. :>
