Squeee! It's Here!
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:03 pmFor those few of you not in the know, my story, "Claus of Death," is scheduled to appear in THE DRAGON DONE IT, edited by Mike Resnick and Eric Flint, a reprint anthology of fantasy detective stories, published by Baen Books. Well, even though the official release date is March 4, both Amazon and Barnes and Noble have the book in stock, and are shipping it. Being the impatient sort that I am, I ordered a copy through Amazon, and it arrived today.

It's a beautiful book with a Bob Eggleton cover
and a killer lineup, including Esther Friesner, David Drake, Lawrence Schimel, Graham Edwards, Harry Turtledove, Tanya Huff, and Neil Gaiman. I'm in some high-flying company. This is an excellent collection if you happen to like fantasy detective stories, and I couldn't be happier to be part of it. So, order soon, order multiple copies, give them out as birthday presents, whatever. Or go stalk your local bookstore until they get it in.
