An odd justaposition...

When I start trying to unravel fairy tale logic, or the lack thereof, I invariably want to wave a hand and say "Bob Haney, that's why!"

Because that would explain so much about why fairy tale characters do the things they do, sometimes....

Yes, I know this post makes little sense out of context. I've just been up to my ears in Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales, and hoooo-ey, some of them just take that left turn and keep on going. (See The Twin Brothers for one of my favorite examples of fairy tale WTFery...)
