It Was A Nice Streak....

I managed to sell six erotica stories in a row before I finally met with a rejection.  Six.  In a row.  I'm still amazed I got that far.  What started as a "why the hell not?" turned into an ever-more-baffling series of successes, and it only came to a halt because the seventh one didn't quite fit the mood of the anthology compared to the stories already selected.

Can't exactly complain too much, under the circumstances.  

Now, if I could only achieve this same sort of success with the mainstream writing.
