Work Is Strange

So I work for a bookstore. And after three of the eight people working there leave, I finally get my shot at being keyholder. Tonight was my first night closing the store on my own, without anyone else there to supervise/manage/advise me. No problem!

The amusing part came when I was also assigned one of our three -new- employees to train.... it was basically, "Hey Michael, here's Megan. This is her first day. Teach her everything she needs to know. Bye!"

Yeah. Her first day working, my first night with responsibility. Like the blind leading the blonde or something.

The store didn't burn down or blow up. We win!
